Coin Roll Hunting

Coin Roll Hunting

Another Form of Treasure Hunting is Coin Roll Hunting

Due to the long winters here in the northeast we are unable to metal detect as much as we like.  This is when we depend on searching coin rolls for valuable or collectable coins.

Coin roll hunting is when an individual purchases rolls of coins (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, fifty cent pieces, or dollar pieces) from a bank or store and searching. pulling, and saving interesting or valuable coins from the rolls.

Most common purpose for searching coin rolls would be for collecting older  90% silver coins.  The 90% silver coins were produced up through 1964 for dimes, quarters, half dollars, and dollar coins.
